The ultimate in privacy and service for just 10 guests, the Lodge sits on the edge of the lagoon amidst an ancient milkwood grove. Each 2 person chalet consists of an open limestone enclosure, thatch roof and canvas interior for African simplicity and safari inspired accommodation. Romantic netting drapes the luxurious bed and the large tub is perfect for an indulgent soak. There is a private outdoor shower and wooden deck on which to relax and admire the picture-postcard views.
Access to the main lodge is along boardwalks through the milkwood trees to the Lapa (open enclosure). Here guests can savour the wonderful meals and have a drink by the fireplace. There is also a spa pool which overlooks a bird sanctuary, the lagoon and mountains. The sunsets are wonderful and later brilliant night skies can be enjoyed while reflecting on another great day.

Duminy Cottage Self-catering
In the heart of the fynbos gardens and milkwoods, this stone cottage is perfect for families. It is close to the 1892 Stanford Spookhuis and there is a vibrant youth camp next door. This home from home has stone mosaics, granite counters and classic natural finishes. Guests can relax and take in the views from the spacious and open living, dining and kitchen area or on the wide upper deck.
There is a wood-burning stove and outdoor braai (barbeque). This cottage can sleep 9 in 2 en-suite bedrooms and a large loft, there is a separate bathroom and one of the bedrooms has wheelchair accessibility. Luxury bed linen, bath towels, firewood, kayaking, hiking and instructional fynbos gardens are included. Meals can be requested.
Duminchie Cottage Self-catering
This quaint stone cottage is one of the original farm buildings, now fully renovated and wonderful for a couple and 1-2 children. It is next door to Duminy Cottage sharing milkwood trees and fynbos gardens and also close to a vibrant youth camp. This one bedroom, 1 bathroom cottage has a fireplace, neat loft, small efficiency kitchen, covered patio and beautiful mountain and lagoon views. Luxury bed linen, bath towels, firewood, kayaking, hiking and instructional fynbos gardens are included. Meals can be requested.
