Set on the banks of the Breede River Mouth you will find Mudlark River Front Lodge. Mudlark is only 3 hours from Cape Town and is situated on a 22 hectare property (part of the Lower Breede River conservancy). It is placed on the river bank about 2 kilometres from the tiny villages of Witsand and Infanta, both on the opposite banks of the Breede River Mouth, South Africa.
This situation is unique in that no other habitation can be seen and Mudlark River Front Lodge has magnificent views up and down the Estuary. Mudlark River Front Lodge faces north and is protected from the prevailing sea breezes. It is also surrounded by fynbos on 3 sides.
The climate at the Breede River Mouth is temperate. The maximum temperatures reaching 33 degrees Celsius in summer and cooling to 20 degrees Celsius in mid winter.
