Trinity Lodge hosts regular wine evenings where the local wine makers present their wines followed by a 4 course gourmet dinner with wines specially selected to match each course.

Trinity Lodge also hosts cooking weekends where groups of friends get together and learn how to prepare dishes with both cooking demonstrations and practicals which are held under the tutelage of internationally trained chef Debbie Mc Laughlin. Wine and olive tastings are also part of the fun and if required cellar tours to nearby wine farms can be arranged.

The Darling Wildflower and Orchid Show involves indoor and outdoor viewing of a wide variety of indigenous wildflowers that are in bloom at this time. Several private and municipal wildflower reserves are opened to the public and tractor rides are available to view the natural display at Oude Post Vlei.
